A whole-home interior repaint on a 2,400 sq-ft single-family. Owner had just bought the house and wanted everything painted before moving in furniture. Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and the existing oak kitchen cabinets — refinished in a warm white enamel.
We spent the first full day on prep — patching nail holes, caulking trim gaps, sanding cabinet doors and frames, and masking floors and remaining fixtures. Painting started day two with the ceilings, dropped down to walls, then trim and doors, finishing with the cabinets in our shop area for spray application.
The kitchen cabinets had been painted twice already over the original 1990s oak. The previous paint was peeling in patches because no one had primed the oak properly. We sanded the entire surface back to a sound layer, applied a bonding primer, then sprayed two coats of cabinet-grade enamel. Three days of cabinet work alone — but they'll hold for 20 years now.
